It was a very Barbenheimer weekend at the movies. “Barbie” took the top spot at the box office, shattering expectations by raking in $337 million worldwide, making it the biggest opening of the year. Christopher Nolan’s atomic bomb thriller “Oppenheimer” came in second, with a $174 million take globally. Barbie frenzy was in full force with fans wearing all sorts of pink confections to screenings.
