Laura Owens Sentenced To 1 Month In Jail In Fraud Pregnancy Case

A woman who accused TV's former “Bachelor” Clayton Echard of fathering twins who never existed was sentenced to 30 days in jail Friday. Owens appeared in court Friday after pleading guilty to fraudulent schemes, perjury and identity theft. Echard, a reality TV star who is now an Arizona realtor, says his nightmare started after a brief romantic encounter with podcaster Laura Owens in 2023.
