On a list of heroes of 2018, pilot Tammie Jo Shults would be at the top. She safely landed a passenger plane after one of its engines failed 30,000 feet in the air. Bravery was on full display in a Michigan court as more than 150 gymnasts shared their stories of sexual abuse at the hands of Dr. Larry Nassar. One of them was three-time Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman. And the whole world was rooting for the young soccer players who got trapped inside a cave in Thailand for nearly a month.
