Fear set in when doctors told parents Micah and Adrianna Mashburn that 27 weeks into her pregnancy, a surgery would need to be performed on their baby before giving birth. An ultrasound revealed a large mass in the baby’s right lung. Maverick was partially delivered by C-section and after six weeks in the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the family said it was a miracle to take home a healthy and happy baby boy.
