CMT Awards Co-Hosted From Home of Kelsea Ballerini After Last-Minute COVID Test

It was a first for the CMT Awards, as country music star Kelsea Ballerini co-hosted the show live from inside her home in Nashville after testing positive for the coronavirus. She was in high spirits nonetheless, and even went through several outfit changes. Back at the awards ceremony, a thunderstorm hit while Jason Aldean and Bryan Adams were performing, and people on the red carpet were herded inside. Twenty minutes later, the show was back in full swing.
