Coronavirus Patient Greg Mudis Given Drug Used to Treat Malaria

Greg Mundis was found to have contracted the coronavirus, but now he’s on the drug chloroquine, which is widely used to treat malaria. The drug is being hailed as a possible treatment for COVID-19. Amanda Macy, whose husband has come down with the virus, is being treated with another drug, Remdesivir. These cases give the world hope as concerns rise about the availability of testing and treatment for COVID-19.
