Dachshund Returns to Connecticut Home After Going Missing 5 Years Ago
October 5, 2018
Five years ago, a dachshund named Lady wandered away from her family's yard, and vanished. They thought she was gone forever, but half a decade later, she's amazingly back. "It can't be possible, it's been so long," said her owner, Kelsea Carpenter. "I cannot believe that she's here." Earlier this week, Lady showed up at a pound in Ipswich, Connecticut. Kelsea said Lady had been implanted with an ID chip. When the pound scanned her, they were able to reconnect her with her old family.
