Ding Dong Ditch Prank Turns Deadly, 11-Year-Old Boy Killed

Police say a group of kids were playing ding dong ditch around 11 p.m. in Houston. Ding Dong Ditch is a prank in which kids ring a doorbell or knock on the door then run away before anyone can answer. Police say someone came out of a home and opened fire and one of the boys, who was 11 years old, was shot in the back. Julian Guzman died in the hospital. The boy's mother says he was "affectionate, loving," and "always smiling." Gonzalo Leon Jr., 42, has been charged with murder.
