Did former president Donald Trump call on the Justice Department to stop “Saturday Night Live” and other late-night comedy shows from poking fun at him? According to the Daily Beast, in 2019, Trump had had enough of the shows mocking him and his family, and “asked advisors and lawyers… about what the FCC and Department of Justice could do to probe or mitigate” the “late-night comedy mischief-makers.” Today, Trump is lashing out from his summer home, calling the report “fake news."
