Electric Eel Lights Up Aquarium's Christmas Tree Using Its Shocks

The holiday spirit is in full swing at the Tennessee Aquarium, where Miguel Wattson the electric eel that has been lighting up the space’s Christmas tree with its shocks. A team devised a system that translates the shockwaves inside his tank to the lights on a nearby tree in time for Christmas. When Miguel is searching for food or is excited, he generates more energy and produces a stronger flash shown on the string lights. InsideEdition.com’s Johanna Li has more.
