The next inmate set to be executed in Tennessee is getting a temporary reprieve, after the failed execution of Christa Pike. Gary Wayne Sutton was set to be executed on December 3rd. Governor Bill Lee halted all executions in the state, pending the outcome of an investigation into what went wrong with the most recent attempt at administering lethal injection.
