Packages of Fake Drugs Dropped in Ocean to Lure Criminals: Cops
After a shipment of cocaine bound for Australia was intercepted near South America in November, Australian authorities pulled a bait and switch. They dropped packages of fake drugs into the ocean off the coast of Western Australia, hoping members of a drug smuggling organization based in Australia would show up to retrieve them.
