Attention French food lovers in New York: your days of enjoying foie gras could soon be over. A bill before the New York City council could ban the sale of the delicacy. Foie gras is French for “fatty liver” and is made by force feeding geese to increase the fat content of their livers, which gives it a rich and buttery taste.
