German Neighbors Sing in Solidarity With Italians Quarantined for Coronavirus

After seeing quarantined Italians sing from their balconies, a neighborhood in Germany decided to sing in sympathy and solidarity. Residents of the Bavarian town of Bamberg belted out “Bella Ciao,” an Italian protest song. ”The point is to show solidarity to the whole world in these difficult times of the pandemic," said neighbor Mischa Salzmann. Italy is one of the countries hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic.
