Global Landmarks Go Dark to Raise Awareness for Climate Change

March 28, 2022

Monuments around the globe went dark to bring attention to climate change. World Wide Fund for Nature created Earth Hour in 2007. The symbolic “lights out” event has grown each year. They hope buildings going without light for 60 minutes will “spark global conversations on protecting nature,” leading to lasting change.
