Governor Pledges to Pardon St. Louis Couple If Convicted of Felony Gun Charges

Mark and Patricia McClosky, the St. Louis lawyer couple who waved guns at passing protesters in what they claim was a defense of their million dollar home have been brought up on felony gun charges. But the state attorney general is looking to overrule the circuit attorney who brought the charges and have them dismissed. Missouri’s Governor also said he would pardon the couple if they were convicted, leading many to decry his statement as an interference of due process.
