Thanks to strict lockdown measures at the beginning of the pandemic, Australia had only 910 deaths in a population of 25 million. It also became a hot spot for celebrities to ride out the pandemic. Matt Damon, Natalie Portman, and Zach Efron have all been seen around the beaches down under, and some celebrities are shopping for homes in Australia. Aussie natives Nicole Kidman and Chris Hemsworth packed up their Los Angeles houses and moved their families back home.
