October 13, 2026
President Donald Trump's new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, made her White House debut Tuesday with an announcement that Donald Trump Jr's former fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has been asked to resign as the U.S. ambassador to Greece. Trump donor Eric Deters shared text messages he said were from Guilfoyle, asking him to pay her $100,000 American Express bill. Guilfoyle posted a statement on social media saying the allegations were false and that she intends to vigorously defend her name, reputation, and integrity. Meanwhile, the new press secretary is getting mixed reviews.
