How ‘Dynasty’ Star Catherine Oxenberg Fought to Save Daughter From Suspected Cult

“Dynasty” actress Catherine Oxenberg fought to rescue her daughter, India, from what some have called a dangerous sex cult. The organization, NXIVM, billed itself as a self-help group. Its leader is the charismatic Keith Raniere. “Somewhere deep down I knew this was a bogus scam,” Oxenberg told Inside Edition. Oxenberg was a member of the group and introduced her daughter to it but says she didn’t know where “this was headed.” She got out in 2011 but India stayed for years after before escaping herself.
