Why Are Women Worldwide Protesting Iran?
An arrest by what is known as Iran’s “morality police” for not wearing her hijab properly, led to the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. It has touched off worldwide protests in support of women who are tired of living under a regime known for ruling with an iron fist. Iran's supreme leader gave his full backing to security forces, which could herald a harsher crackdown to quell the unrest. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
