How ‘Pretty Woman: The Musical’ Resonates in the #MeToo Era

August 19, 2018

The 1990 rom-com classic “Pretty Woman” has been turned into a Broadway musical. But how does the story, which centers on a sex worker and the rich businessman who falls for her, fare in the era of #MeToo?
