Drivers Are Going Back to School To Learn How To Operate Stick Shift Cars

Terms like clutch and shift aren't used a lot by driving instructors these days, but some students want to get to know them. In fact, longtime drivers are going back to school to learn the ancient art of driving a stick shift. Ferrari Driving School in New York tells CBS News their manual Volkswagen is very much in commission. They say about 30 to 40 students request lessons in manual transmission driving every month.
