Jaguar Released Back Into Wild Following Rehab After Being Hit by Car

A rehabilitated jaguar was released back to the wild from a wooden box in Mexico after he was struck by a car and suffered a broken left shoulder and body lesions. Veterinarians at a local zoo treated him for months. Video from the International Fund For Animal Welfare shows the big cat, known as “Covi,” slowly step back into a reserve that includes forest and wetlands with a satellite collar that will monitor his progress.
