Japanese Startup Creates Child-Like Robot to Train Pediatric Dentists

This childlike being screaming and rolling its eyes is a humanoid robot. They have them in Japan to train pediatric dentists. Pedia_Roid was co-developed by startup Tmsuk and a local dental school. A tablet controls its movements, reactions and facial expressions. It simulates a child's response when receiving treatment and can even mimic critical medical symptoms like heart attacks and convulsions.
