Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon Apologize for Blackface Sketches

Jimmy Kimmel is apologizing today for appearing in blackface. In a “Man Show” clip from 19 years ago, Kimmel is seen in full body blackface impersonating NBA star Karl Malone. Kimmel announced he was taking the summer off the air earlier this week, and has been under pressure to respond to the unearthed footage. Jimmy Fallon is also apologizing for wearing blackface on “Saturday Night Live” in 2000. Tina Fey is pulling four episodes of “30 Rock” that show blackface from streaming platforms.
