Sheriff's Deputy Uses Drone To Snatch Knife From Suspect's Hand

It's a new use of drone technology, deployed for the first time to disarm a suspect. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office released this video of the operation. They say they had a suspect's house surrounded, but they feared he had a firearm. Instead of sending in deputies, potentially putting them and the suspect in more danger, they say they deployed a drone to scope out the situation inside.
