Koala Walks Away Unscathed After Causing 5-Car Freeway Accident in Australia

These vehicles may not have gotten out alright, but at least this little koala is OK. A koala venturing out into Monday morning traffic caused a five-car pile up on a freeway in Adelaide, Australia. Nadia Tugwell got out of her car to rescue the scared koala. She says living near a eucalyptus forest and seeing animal handlers rescue koalas gave her the knowledge to keep the koala calm. This koala has been released back into the forest - this time, a little further away from the freeway.
