Long Island Organization Rescues Raccoon With Head Stuck in Can 3 Days

It was Strong Island Animal Rescue to the rescue when a Long Island, New York, resident spotted a raccoon with a can on its head. It took three days before the team could locate and help the animal. They used vegetable oil to free the raccoon and released it into the wild. Frankie Floridia told Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall that rescues like this happen all the time, and they are completely avoidable.
