Morgan Wallen Stages Comeback After Racial Slur Incident, Many Say It’s Too Soon

On the day of the CMT Awards, Morgan Wallen fans are taking a stand, paying for billboards in support of the country music star amid his racial slur controversy. In February, Wallen was caught on camera using the ‘n-word’ after a night out partying. He was quickly pulled from radio stations and streaming services and his music label suspended his contract. Now he’s mounting a comeback, but many say it’s too soon. The NAACP says Wallen never made good on his promise to meet with them.
