Olympic Snowboarder's Near-Death Experience Made Him a Better Competitor

Team USA snowboarder A.J. Muss dislocated his shoulder in the middle of a recent season. When he underwent a routine procedure to fix it, the surgery set off a cascading series of medical events that nearly killed the young athlete. He says the experience made him a better competitor. "Death has not really frightened me," he told InsideEdition.com. "I can walk out of this room right now and die. I can't control that. What I can control is what I'm doing right here and right now."
