Patty McCormack Returns in Rob Lowe’s ‘The Bad Seed’ Remake

September 9, 2018

Patty McCormack terrified audiences as little Rhoda Penmark in the 1956 classic, "The Bad Seed." She says people actually thought she was evil just like her character. At only 11-years-old, McCormack was nominated for an Oscar for the role. Now at 73, Patty is revisiting the role that made her a household name in a remake for Lifetime that’s directed by Rob Lowe. This time, she’s playing a new character, a psychologist to the devilish child, played by 12-year-old Mckenna Grace.
