Pompeii Man Crushed to Death by Large Stone While Fleeing Mt. Vesuvius

May 31, 2018

Archeologists in Italy came upon a man who met an unfortunate end in Pompeii, having his head crushed under a large stone. Officials at the archeological site say the man, who was over 30 years old, died while fleeing the city after Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. They say he had an infection in his tibia which made it hard for him to walk, much less run from the danger. InsideEdition.com's Mara Montalbano (https://twitter.com/MaraMontalbano) has more.
