Protesters Hit Building With Red Paint in France as Coronavirus Numbers Grow
June 22, 2020
A group of protesters in France doused a government building in red paint to protest their disapproval of that country’s coronavirus response. The red paint symbolized the blood of those who have died from COVID-19. The group responsible for the impromptu paint job is known as “Attac.” It says that healthcare workers in France are underfunded and haven’t gotten the support they need. The protest comes as the World Health Organization shares grim news about rising coronavirus infection numbers.
