Scientist Injured in New York Hammer Attack Returns to Scene for 1st Time

For the first time since she was injured in a hammer attack at a New York City subway station, Dr. Nina Rothschild returned to the scene of the crime. A scientist with the New York City Health Department, Rothschild was leaving work when she was struck by a person she’d never met. She remembers every agonizing moment of the traumatic encounter. “I kept calling out ‘Stop,’” Rothschild told Inside Edition.
