Southwest Airlines Resumes Alcohol Sales Despite Flight Attendant Union Objection

Booze is back onboard! Southwest Airlines lifted its ban on alcohol Wednesday for most flights after two years of suspending drink service during the pandemic. Inside Edition reporter Ann Mercogliano boarded a Southwest flight from Nashville to New York City, and 10 minutes later she had a beer in hand, which cost her $6. Southwest is the latest of the big four airlines to lift the ban, which was imposed during the pandemic. United and Delta resumed alcohol sales in coach last year.
