Stephen Colbert Welcomes Back Live Studio Audience With Jon Stewart and Tina Fey

It’s Stephen Colbert’s first live audience since the pandemic, and boy were they happy to be there! Audience members, who all had to show proof of vaccination, excitedly lined up outside the Ed Sullivan Theater. Colbert’s first guest, Jon Stewart, signed autographs before he went inside. Over at the "Today" show, Tina Fey was welcomed as the first live studio guest in more than a year. New York hit the herd immunity threshold as 70% of the state’s adults have at least one vaccine dose.
