Suspect Dives Off Florida Bridge to Get Away From Police: Cops

Police in Florida say a suspect dove off a bridge and into the water while trying to get away from them. The brazen move happened in Fort Myers, Florida. It started off as a police chase. Cops say the driver was in a stolen van and attempted to pull him over but the van crashed on the Edison Bridge. The driver is seen on surveillance getting out and diving off into the Caloosahatchee River. Law enforcement eventually pull him out of the water and into custody.
