Swimmer Who Lost to Lia Thomas Complains About Fairness

A college swimmer who lost a race against college champion Lia Thomas is speaking out. Thomas was the first transgender woman to win a Division 1 national championship in any sport. University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines tied for 5th place with Lia in another race at the NCAA championships. But when it came time to accept their awards, there was only one 5th-place trophy and officials gave it to Thomas. She says it’s not fair.
