Tennessee Barber Gives Discount Haircuts to Kids Who Read in Chair
July 22, 2019
A Tennessee barber shop gives discounts to kids who read books during their haircuts. Owner Jermaine Scott says he did not like reading as a kid, so he is trying to teach his younger clients the power of books. The parents of the kids think it is a great way to limit their kids' screen time. Parents also think the books spark great conversations at the shop. Scott says it is a unique way to do something different at his shop and teach kids the power of education.
