Thousands in Taiwan Apply to Be Chosen as “Passengers” for Fake Flight

July 6, 2020

In Taiwan, 7,000 people applied to take part in a fake flight run by an airport in the country that wanted to give travelers a chance to experience boarding a grounded plane. Only 60 were chosen to get a fake itinerary upon “check-in,” go through passport and security control and get on an aircraft to listen to prevention protocols from flight attendants, and then walk back out the door. It comes amid the coronavirus lockdown. Taiwan has had success in containing the virus and advised against overseas travel unless absolutely necessary. Inside Edition Digital has more.
