Woman Killed by Alligator While Walking Her Dog

A woman was attacked and killed by an alligator, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said. It happened near the water’s edge in Fort Pierce as the 85-year-old was walking her dog alone in her retirement community. Neighbors say the alligator came out from the water and dragged her under.
