Speeding Driver Crashes Into Pennsylvania House, Flipping Car
Kameron Smith faces multiple charges.
Shocking video has captured the moment a Mini Cooper crashed into a brick house in Manchester Township, Pennsylvania, Wednesday.
In the footage, the car can be seen striking the home, flipping over and coming to a rest on its side.
The York Dispatch reported that the motorist was allegedly fleeing from police after they say they caught him going 80 mph in a 55 mph zone.
After hitting the home, the driver, identified by police as Kameron Smith, climbed out the sunroof, at which point he was arrested. He told them he wasn't trying to evade them but rather "his shoe got stuck on the accelerator," according to court documents obtained by the paper.
Smith faces multiple charges, including DUI and fleeing or attempting to elude police, court records show.
