Wounded Warriors Battle Former NFL Stars in Football Game

Ahead of Sunday's big game, another showdown unfolded near Atlanta as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team took on former NFL stars.
They battled it out for the "Game of Honor," a charity flag-football game, on Wednesday night in Fairburn, Georgia.
The Wounded Warriors team is comprised of veterans, many of whom have prosthetics.
"They’re just out here to show that despite missing an arm, despite missing a leg, despite missing two legs, you can contribute to society after fighting for this country," said the team's communication director, Dave Stevens.
They took on NFL alumni including Michael Irvin, Rocky Bleier, Dan Reeves and Ron Jaworski.
Former Seahawks player Nate Boyer, who spent 10 years in the Army Special Forces, was also on the field.
"The guys that are missing limbs, it’s just unbelievable to see what they’re capable of and they’re still really fast and hard to get down," he told Inside Edition. "Anybody’s capable of anything, if we’re just willing to work and willing to put our fears aside ... and outside doubts from other people."
The Wounded Warriors ended up victorious. They won the game 58-35.
"These people, they inspire you to wanna just be better," Boyer said.
