Has the Mystery of the Woman Seen in Shackles Been Solved?
Police said they are still investigating.
Has the mystery of the woman seen on security footage desperately ringing doorbells in the middle of the night been solved?
Another woman has come forward saying she believes the female caught on home surveillance footage in a case that has baffled Texas authorities is her missing sister, Caitlin Denison, who vanished in January after flying to the Lone Star State with a man she had just met.
Rachael Denison told DailyMail.com that she believes the woman is her sister because she recognizes the woman's distinctive tattoos in the video.
"I have come to believe that this is my sister due to a tattoo that she has of the Libra scales on her arm," she said.
Chilling surveillance footage shows the mystery woman ringing a doorbell at a house in Montgomery, located outside Houston, at 3:20 a.m. Friday. The woman, barefoot and wearing a T-shirt, appears to have restraints on her wrist, police said.
Detectives in Montgomery are now going door to door in hopes of identifying the woman.
Officials cautioned that they've received a number of tips in the case from people who think the woman is their missing loved one.
"As of now, none are believed to be the woman in the video," police said.
