13-Year-Old Slain Cheerleader’s Mom Calls Her Forever ‘My Sweet Baby Girl’

There was laughter and tears as the family and friends of Tristyn Bailey celebrated her short life. From the flowers to clothing, the service was a sea of teal and white, 13-year-old Tristyn’s favorite colors. Each member of her family spoke, with Tristyn’s father, Forrest, leading a standing ovation for the sheriff’s officers who searched for his daughter. Mother Stacy says Tristyn is, “Always and forever my cheerleader and my sweet baby girl.”
