2 Dead, 2 Injured After Lightning Strikes Near White House

Lightning struck too close to the White House for comfort. A CBS News crew hightailed it off the lawn during the storm and while they were not in harm’s way, that wasn’t the case for others nearby. Officials say four people were struck by the lightning in Lafayette Square. Secret Service and US Park Police who witnessed the strike rendered first aid to the victims until help could arrive, according to reports. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
