Conviction Dismissed For Man Who Poisoned Co-Worker

A man was caught on camera pouring a toxic chemical into his coworker's water bottle. The troubling incident happened at a research lab in Berkeley, California. The victim, Rong Yuan, says she took multiple trips to the ER over the course of two years, and that doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. One day, her mom took a sip from her water bottle and noticed it tasted sour. Yuan bought a spy camera and set it up on her desk, which caught David Xu in the act. There is outrage that the man’s conviction was dismissed even though he had pled no contest to poisoning Yuan’s bottle.
