5-Year-Old Celebrates End of Chemo and His Birthday With Parade of Firetrucks

Simon McKenzie has a lot to smile about. To celebrate turning 5 and finishing chemotherapy, Simon's friends, neighbors and local fire department paraded down his block. Simon was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2017. Simon, who has autism, finished chemo and is now able to stay home and stay safe during the coronavirus pandemic. A Special Wish Cleveland and the Lakewood Fire Department teamed up to help Simon celebrate that milestone.
