Woman Says Man Has Been Harassing Her For Years After Facebook Marketplace Listing

Melanie Smith listed an old iPhone for sale on Facebook Marketplace and what followed, she says, was three years of stalking. Smith says she received thousands of text messages. Then came gifts sent to her parents' house. Smith filed police reports but says cops did very little to help, a claim police deny. One night, the man showed up at her parents' home. Michal Pacek was arrested later that morning and charged with harassment and stalking. He was deemed mentally unfit to proceed with the case. The charges were dropped and he was released. Smith says he is still harassing her.
