Woman Comes Face-To-Face With Man She Says Has Been Relentlessly Stalking Her

Nurse Melanie Smith was in court on Long Island Thursday and came face to face with the man she says has been relentlessly stalking her. Michael Pacek, a 47-year-old truck driver, is charged with stalking, aggravated harassment, and criminal contempt. Police said they could do little to protect Smith, but after she told her story to Inside Edition last week, Pacek was put in handcuffs. Pacek did not enter a plea and was ordered held without bail.
